Mti Mkubwa

Under the guidance of Serengeti Wildlife Safaris, the trek began at the Starting Point, 2100 meters above sea level. The group set off into the lush rainforest, surrounded by vibrant flora and the sounds of nature. As they ascended, the trail wound gently upward, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. After a couple of hours of steady hiking, they took a break to appreciate the beauty of their surroundings. Continuing on, the group reached Mti Mkubwa Campsite at 2650 meters by evening. Named for its majestic trees, the campsite provided a breathtaking view of the nearby peaks. After setting up tents, the team enjoyed a hearty meal together, sharing stories and preparing for the adventures ahead
